Халфът на Манчестър Юнайтед Пол Скоулс, който вчера обяви официалното си оттегляне от футбола, изказа благодарност на към всички в клуба за подкрепата, която са му оказвали. Бившият английски национал е категоричен, че сега е моментът да прекрати състезателната си кариера и обяви, че решението му е окончателно. Той изрази мнение, че под ръководството на Алекс Фъргюсън Юнайтед ще спечели още много титли.
„Определено не взех лесно решението да се оттегля, но чувствам, че сега е моментът да го сторя. Откровено мога да призная, че да играе футбол е единственото, което съм искал да правя. За мен е чест, че направих толкова дълга и успешна кариера в Манчестър Юнайтед. Огромна привилегия е, че бях част от клуба, който спечели 19-та титла на Англия", коментира Скоулс.
„Искам да благодаря на феновете за невероятната им подкрепа през годините. Искам да благодаря и на всички треньори и играчи, с които съм работил през години. Разбира се най-много искам да благодаря на сър Алекс Фъргюсън, който е велик мениджър. От първия ден в този отбор той винаги е бил с отворена врата за нас и знам, че под негово ръководство клубът ще печели още много трофеи", каза още Скоулс.
Бенефисът на играча се очаква да бъде през август на „Олд Трафорд".

Едно време имаше страхотен далечен удар и дълъг пас зад гърба на защитата , но това е всичко. А последните 2-3 сезона му остана само хъса за игра и грубите прояви
Все пак остана верен на Ман Ютд през цялата си кариера. Респект
